At First, children of all ages experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Our nursery, children, and youth ministries offer programming throughout the year on Sunday mornings and throughout the week.

Our nursery warmly welcomes your little ones on Sunday mornings (8:30-12:00) and during the week for other ministry events at the church. Our team of staff and volunteers are all trained, background checked, and resourced to make your child's experience exceptional. Our infant room is equipped for naps, age-appropriate toys, diaper changing station, and refrigerated milk storage. Parents will receive a family pager once they drop their littles ones off to stay in contact with our staff. Our toddler playroom is ready for older children to explore, play, and learn.

Children's Sunday School meets at 10:00am in the first floor classrooms. We begin with group prayer and music in the first floor lobby before breaking into age-specific classrooms. Our student curriculum (Feasting on the Word) follows the lessons presented each Sunday during our regular services, providing a fuller picture of the lesson the adults are getting that day. This encourages discussion among families after services are over. Feasting on the Word includes age-appropriate verses, lessons and activities that are fun and engaging for our younger members.

The PRE- K/K CLASS is designed for children in pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade. Activities here begin to expose the children to the very basics of God’s word in the simplest of terms such as coloring, puzzles and crafts.

The SECOND – FIFTH GRADE class is designed for our older elementary children. In their faith development programs, children begin to dig a little deeper into the “why and how” of the gospel. Using props, interactive elements, and role playing the children are urged to see how God works through individuals in the Bible and

how those examples can be applied to their own lives.

We're really fortunate to have a great Jr/Sr High Youth Group as well: Mission Trips, acts of service, fellowship and more!

Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 for youth Sunday School in the youth room, or our fellowship events on Sunday afternoons/evenings and throughout the week (contact Curt for the schedule!) Our youth-driven conversations take on real-world issues they want to learn more about. We have flexible fellowship options both on-site and with other churches and organizations in the area.

CONFIRMATION – While this group only meets every other year it may be the most important step in the faith journey of our 7th and 8th graders! It is at this point where an understanding of the tenets of the gospel are the focus and where the commitment is made to make faith their own, and to formally join the church as members.
